In my search for Laravel 5 skills for an entire re-platform of studentrecipes.com I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Rui.
He quickly understood our requirements and gave me confidence in his ability early on by asking the right questions and making constructive suggestions on improving the server side aspect of the product.

As as developer myself it was important I could understand the code so I could make changes and add new features independently post launch.
Both the architecture and code quality enable me to do this with ease. Accurate estimates up front and on-going communication make dealing with Rui a positive experience from a business point of view also.

Rui built a full user account management/auth/registration system for a web app, using Laravel on a Digital Ocean Ubuntu LEMP stack.

He communicated very clearly and quickly, and finished the project with a very speedy turnaround time.

In addition to his Laravel and web app expertise he is proficient and adept in server management/configuration. He was flexible and intuitive during the discussion of the specs, and again during the delivery of the configured server.
